- How can I register drivers for a session? How can I find the ID?
You do not need to schedule drivers for a session, as they are directly assigned to a learning journey in-app once they have completed the necessary onboarding steps. Login credentials are set up in the same way as they are currently for both you and the drivers you engage (UK) / your drivers (FR/DE).
- What is the deadline for registering drivers for a session?
There are no deadlines, as no scheduling is needed. Eligible drivers will have their accounts automatically set up and can start immediately upon logging into the platform.
- Is there a limit to how many drivers I can register per session?
No, there is no limit. The information session is available to all drivers in onboarding status. Will there be sessions every day, even on weekends? There are no scheduled sessions. Drivers can access the information session 24/7, including
weekends.
- Can drivers continue to be enrolled in the existing instructor-led sessions instead of the new self-led learning sessions?
No, the legacy instructor-led training process is not available to drivers of DSPs participating in this pilot.
- How can I monitor the completions/records of my drivers (UK: of the drivers I engage)?
While no notifications will be sent, you can monitor progress and completion in real time directly on the learning platform's dedicated dashboard.
- What happens if a driver doesn't complete the AI-powered information session?
Drivers must complete all modules before they can deliver Amazon parcels, consistent with current requirements. Please note, drivers must complete the information session within 7 days of enrollment, or their progress will be reset, and they will need to restart from the beginning. You'll have real-time dashboard visibility to monitor progress and follow up proactively.
- Will there still be a Knowledge Check? And does completion of the Knowledge Check trigger account activation?
Yes, the Knowledge Check remains. However, the trigger for account activation will now be the completion of all modules, rather than Knowledge Check completions.
- How will we ensure it is the actual driver completing the module, and not anyone else?
The existing requirement for drivers to present an ID remains unchanged. This technology incorporates robust identity verification using biometric and facial recognition technology built into both LMS platforms. The system triggers ID checks at three critical points: at the start of the information session module, after breaks, and before final assessment completion.
- How will language support work for non-native speakers?
Both vendor platforms support all major EU languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Romanian, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Arabic, and Hungarian through AI-powered translation and localization. Conversational AI assessments can understand and respond to driver inputs in their native language, with natural language processing algorithms trained on regional dialects and colloquialisms. During the pilot, we will specifically evaluate the availability of varied language support with success criteria requiring equivalent NPS scores across all language groups.
- Can drivers still ask questions during the information session?
Yes. The AI assistant within the learning management system provides immediate responses to questions. For any other queries, drivers can engage their DSP for additional support.
- What if we experience technical issues?
The learning platform provides multiple support channels for technical issues. Drivers can request help directly through the learning platform chatbot or Help button, which connects them to the LMS vendor's dedicated technical support team. Issues will be resolved within stipulated SLAs. For pressing or unresolved issues requiring immediate attention, DSPs can raise issues, feedback, and
ideas through the dedicated DSP Asana request form, which is directly handled by the pilot project team.
- Is safety training or Micro Mobility training impacted by this update?
This pilot only changes how drivers receive information about Amazon-specific delivery requirements. Micro Mobility is also covered through the new platform. However, safety sessions are unaffected, as are Micro Mobility Day 2 sessions. You must continue to ensure drivers you engage are adequately trained on relevant safety topics, as this remains your responsibility.
- Does Amazon provide devices to perform the self-led information session?
No, drivers must use their own devices or have a DSP-provided device. It's important to ensure devices meet the minimum requirements to run [XXX] and the third-party vendor's interface.
For the app:
iOS Devices: Minimum iOS 15.0
Android Devices: Minimum Android 8.0 (API level 26)
Additionally, a web version will be available, but the app is recommended.
- Can drivers conduct the self-led information session from a Delivery Station, AMPL, or XPT?
No, the information session modules must be completed from a safe environment (e.g., not while driving), outside of Amazon facilities.
