How do I know it's a Battle capsule?
In the learning platform, Battle capsules are recognisable thanks to the "boxing ring" icon (where the other capsules have a duration in minutes).
How does a Battle capsule work?
When you launch a battle, you have two options:
- "Launching a battle" to challenge another learner:
- in "Random" mode: let the learning platform work to select a worthy opponent!
- or "By name" : Do you have a target? A particular colleague you want to defeat? Then, click this button to look for your opponent yourself!
- Playing "solo mode" to complete the capsule on your own, all by yourself (This is the same as completing a “classic” capsule)
If you launch a battle capsule in random mode, you are of course able to change opponent... Have you already challenged this learner? Switch opponent!
What's happening?
⇒ On your side, you can directly start the capsule by clicking on “Launch battle”
⇒ On your opponent's side:
- They receive a push notification to alert them of the challenge.
- They may:
- respond to the challenge straight away and start the capsule
- or decide to do it later!
⇒ Battles are "asynchronous", which means that the opponent does not have to play at the same time as you do
The results are given when both players have completed the battle (a little push notification will alert you 🔔) !
How do I find my ongoing battles?
From the learning platform menu, the “Battles” tab lists:
- In progress battles: all the battles that you accept or launch and which are in progress.
- Completed battles: all past battles will be visible in this sub-tab. You will also be able, once you and your opponents have completed a battle, to know the winner and the loser.
- Waiting battles: all battles awaiting completion by you and your opponents.
